Project Role
Dr. Endriss is helping plan the implementation of a forthcoming biocontrol release of a weevil targeting tree-of-heaven while also mentoring a graduate student investigating whether (and if so how) Spotted Lanternflies move from forests into vineyards during their nymphal life stages.
Research Bio
Dr. Endriss’s lab studies invasive plant and insect dynamics to improve management, integrating field research, quantitative analysis, and stakeholder engagement. To this end, they test eco-evolutionary theory in applied contexts by examining local adaptation in plant populations, plant–insect interactions in biological control, and the impacts of invasions and their management on ecological communities.
