Dr. Ruether studies the effect of host diet on entomopathogenic nematode fecundity in spotted lanternfly.

Research Bio

Dr. Ruether studies the chemical ecology of plant-insect interactions with a particular interest in spotted lanternfly and its host plants. By combining behavioral assays, analytical chemistry, and phenological studies, his research aims to improve the management of spotted lanternfly in vineyards.
